Feeding Our Future – San Jose with 26,000 meals each summer

Summer should be a lazy time filled with fun for youngsters excited to be out of school. Unfortunately, over 16 million children face hunger during the summer because the free or reduced-price school meals they need end with the last day of classes.

To help with this problem, Sodexho proudly provides thousands of meals to needy children through our 8 to 10 week summer Feeding Our Future program. This resourceful program donates food and labor necessary to provide summer lunches to children who would otherwise go hungry.

Now in its 12th year, Feeding Our Future has provided more than 1.5 million nutritious summer lunches to children across the United States.

Feeding Our Future – San Jose launched in 2003, with the direct support of funds raised at the annual Northern California Golf Invitational for Charity. To date this tournament has raised more than $232,000 for the Sodexho Foundation, Feeding Our Future and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
